Direct Instruction via the Internet The instructional methodology we use is Direct Instruction. After a student completes the initial assessment, we generate a customized curriculum that focuses on areas of weakness. As the students completes each assignment, we monitor, grade and document their progress. In addition, the parent can easily view the child's progress by logging on as them, and clicking on the report card. Here they will see time spent studying, test results and answers to all the essays they've written since first logging on. Acadamia’s major elements have experienced numerous studies to exhibit the features of a high quality tutorial. Acadamia’s reading program has been written in accordance with guidelines and standards developed by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). This is a nationally known professional organization established in 1911 that offers tools and resources that are researched based to every teacher and educator. The NCTE Research Foundation makes grants to scholars and to classroom teachers to support inquiry on topics in the teaching of English, and to NCTE affiliate groups for projects fostering teachers’ interest in new findings significant for teaching and learning. This vast amount of experience and dedicated service towards improving the student’s academic achievement has been proven to be effective of our online tutorial.
